Description: Tonight the main topic focus was Robots, Androids, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyborgs. We started with Cyborgs and the definition of what constitutes a Cyborg. After a very lengthy discussion on whether or not a Cyborg would need to have mechanical or electrical implants, we eventually moved to the subject of life and its definition. This was a very good and moving topic for the first hour of the chat and many of the members brought out some great ideas about what really defines a Cyborg. From there the chat moved onto Robots and Androids and how they would be used in the future. We then moved to the subject of Clones and where they would fit into a society, whether or not they would be used just for body parts, or whether or not we would be able to just clone certain and specific body parts that could be used for replacements. After awhile, we discussed favorite Robots and Androids from the movies and books we've read and then the chat ended with a short discussion of DUNE. All in all, a very good, lively chat on the main subject of Robots, Androids, AI and Cyborgs. A good chat log to download if you love this subject. :)
